Advantages — Group Health

The PRM Health Trust offers participating entities the opportunity for a more stablilized renewal process by spreading risk and utilizing group purchasing. The advantages of self-funding and the pooling concept are the results of long-term commitment as demonstrated by the continued success of the PRM program.

The PRM/Gallagher Benefit Services team is dedicated to providing high-level consulting services and plan administration support. As an additional layer of support, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida provides a dedicated Account Manager and Benefits Administrator Call Center to assist PRM entities with day-to-day administrative functions. The three-tiered level of support and expertise has proven to be extremely valuable to all members.

Automated enrollment services are provided to members. This time-saving service greatly benefits members with the capability to electronically disseminate data to vendors simultaneously and provide a more efficient and accurate reporting system. A Call Center provides assistance on enrollment processing and other status changes.

PRM and its health providers participate at members’ Open Enrollment Meetings and Health Fairs during the year.

Group Health Trust members participate at the annual PRM Educational Conference. Each year a separate Benefits Workshop updates members on health care legislation and coverages.

A customized benefits website, www.employeebenefitswebsite.com, is provided for each participating member. This is a great tool for employees to quickly find information on their benefit plans and coverage.
